The Race Is On! Each Year, disc golfers from around the world gather at their local courses for one purpose: to throw aces! No putting, no approaching… just runnin’ at the chains. Coyote Point Disc Golf Course is proud to host this years event. To add to the challenge and excitement, players all throw the same model disc: in past years this has been a brand new, never-seen-before Discraft prototype disc that is introduced each year especially for Ace Race.All players get one of these discs to throw, and one to collect. Get ready to run it! We’ll see you at the Ace Race. Event changed to September 27th due to Cross Country Meet on the 20th. 10am Combined Event. Ace Race first round. 2 throws at each hole scoring as follows: ace = 3 pts. metal/basket = 1 pt. Awards then lunch. Our Ventura disc golf Ninjas serving lunch. $ 5.00 taco plate or $ 2.00 tacos. Beer provided to those of age. 2nd round. 18 hole safari with $ 2.00 mulligan/raffle tickets. Awards then raffle. $30.00 gets you in both where you will receive the ace race package and beverage. You can play just the safari round for $10.00. This is our last FUNdraiser for the Coyote Classic. Custom discs will be available.

The 30 limit is due to the cost of Ace Race packages. We can have as many players in the safari as the course can handle, but we have had no more than 30 people show up for the past two fundraisers, so I feel that 30 is about all we will get for this one…although free beer may make the drunks come out of the woodwork… I am not aware of the actual layout for the safari, but I am sure it will be fun and challenging. The raffle may include your vehicle if left unattended :0

Tommy- I presume that the limited “30″ signup only applies to Ace Race! And, that unlimited amount of people for the afternoon safari. Is this correct or what? PS – who is making the safari course this time? Hopefully note that same guy that decided to do Hole 4 mandy to Hole 15 last time!!
