The Race Is On! Each Year, disc golfers from around the world gather at their local courses for one purpose: to throw aces! No putting, no approaching… just runnin’ at the chains. Coyote Point Disc Golf Course is proud to host this years event.

To add to the challenge and excitement, players all throw the same model disc: in past years this has been a brand new, never-seen-before Discraft prototype disc that is introduced each year especially for Ace Race.All players get one of these discs to throw, and one to collect.

Get ready to run it! We’ll see you at the Ace Race.

Combined Event. Ace Race first round. 2 throws at each hole scoring as follows: ace = 3 pts. metal/basket = 1 pt. Awards then lunch. Our Ventura disc golf Ninjas serving lunch. $ 5.00 taco plate or $ 2.00 tacos. Beer provided to those of age. 2nd round. 18 hole safari with $ 2.00 mulligan/raffle tickets. Awards then raffle. $30.00 gets you in both where you will receive the ace race package and beverage. You can play just the safari round for $10.00. This is our last FUNdraiser for the Coyote Classic. Custom discs will be available.
Entries are limited to the first 30 signups

It is time for our second FUNdraiser event. 2 rounds of 18 holes will be played. The format for this one is a bring your own partner Doubles Alternate Shot. You and your partner will play as a one-person team. If you tee off, your partner will take the next shot from down the fairway, then you will take the next shot. The Process will start over for each hole, with Tee Shots alternating between the partners. One partner will drive all the even holes, and the other partner will drive all the odd holes. It sounds more complicated than it really is.

The Mulligan Raffle tickets will make a return appearance for this event, which should spice things up nicely. Any Mulligan shot will replace the shot that was taken, and must be used by the partner that did not just throw. For example, if your partner drives off of tee 1, and shanks it towards tee box 9, you can use a mulligan and re-tee, you must then use your drive, and your partner will then throw the next shot. All mulligans will make the previous shot null and void. You may use as many mulligans as you like, as often as you like.

The Disc Golf Ninjas will once again be cooking a fantastic lunch for $8.

The World Famous Raffle will start after the 2nd round.

There will be a Hole In One Contest available all day for a NEW DGA Mach Lite. The basket will go into the raffle if no one get the Hole In One.

The 2007 Discraft Ace Race is coming back to Coyote Point. $25 entry fee will get you 2 discs, a hat, and a full color mini. The disc is a long range driver: the same class as the stalwart Storm and Stratus. Extensive testing by our experts has generated a 100 percent thumbs up. The event will consist of 2 rounds of 27 short ace holes. There will be a fun raffle after the 2nd round, and once again the Mulligan raffle tickets will make an appearance.
