On Wednesday February 29 and Wednesday March 7 the road leading to the course will be closed. You can still play but you’ll have to hoof it about a mile and a half from the Lake Store to Hole 1.

Take note that Coyote Point DGC will be closed for casual play during the annual Coyote Classic. Courteous spectators are always welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Coyote Point DGC will be closed to the public next Saturday to accommodate the Ventura Corporate Games. This means that nearly everything is in the short positions and it’s probably a good week to go feel good about your score. =)

Please make plans to not be there during those days.
Thank You for your support.

There will be an Acorn Acres Disc Golf Course work day this Saturday July 18, at 9 AM.
The course is located next to the Thousand Oaks High School at the Thousand Oaks Community Park. Park behind the community center gym and walk west across the baseball and soccer fields about 200 yards and you’ll be around holes 1/10 and 2/11.
We will be flattening tee areas, and driving in posts to mark basket locations and some trees/mandies.
I would also like to get some creative ideas on making the holes exciting, fun and unique!
I will ask for volunteers to be assigned a hole or 2. Take a few days to ponder it, and put down on a white sheet of paper a diagram of the hole, tree locations, mandies, terrain changes (yes we can push some dirt around), alternate pin positions…
The sky is the limit as far as possibilites!
Things that will be helpful for folks would be, sunscreen, water, (beer is OK here too!), shovel, pick, trash bags, green spray paint, flourescent orange spray paint.
Thanks,
Mike Byrne
