This year’s proto is unique and sweet, and we think you’re going to love it! It’s the widest diameter putt and approach model Discraft has ever offered, so it can legally weigh in at a hefty 183 grams (subject to PDGA approval)… that’s at least a full seven grams more than other putters! The disc is obedient to its master and goes where you throw it, delivering directional precision and soft, flat landings. The rim is beadless and feels great in your hand. Think of it as a shorter, slower Comet that is hungry for chains.

Conejo Disc Golf Pro/Am at Rabbit Flats

Course Hole-By-Hole Description

1-9 RF Permanent Course, 10-18 Temporary Course

- Hole 1: On and across jogging trail is out of bounds (OB).

- Hole 2: Mandatory to the right of the white post.  Missed mandy – proceed and throw from “drop zone” (between red basket and tree to left) and add a 1 stroke penalty.  (Remember that your first throw counts as a stroke also.)

- Hole 3: Over school fence, on and across jogging trail – out of bounds.

- Hole 4, ROUND 1, YELLOW BASKET: The circle of rocks form an island (“Coney Island”), which is the landing zone.

Local rule: if not on the island play where you lie and add a 1 stroke penalty. Two pink strings circle the rocks and form a thick out of bounds line.

On or across the jogging trail is still out of bounds.  Bring to where disc crossed path and a 1 stroke penalty (not in addition to not being on the island).

Across the out of bounds line running along top of creek, next to tee 5, and up trail to basket 5…are out of bounds.  Play where you crossed the line and add a 1 stroke penalty (not in addition to not being on the island).

- Hole 4, ROUND 2, BLUE BASKET: the out of bounds line runs the jogging trail, along the top of the creek, behind tee 5, up along dirt path towards basket 5, and continues along pepper tree and bushes all the way to the end of the course.  Crossing this line, on or across the jogging trail, or within the circle of rocks (“Lake Conejo”) is a 1 stroke penalty. Local rule: when in Lake Conejo play where you lie and add 1 stroke penalty.

- Hole 5: Mandatory to the left of the marked pole.  Re-tee if the mandy is missed, and add a 1 stroke penalty.  (Remember that your first throw counts as a stroke also.)  The tee is surrounded by out of bounds.  If landing out of bounds, take a 1 stroke penalty and throw from where disc was last over fair ground.  This means you throw again from the tee if your disc is never over fair ground.

- Hole 6: There is a very large pyracantha bush (“Firethorn Lake”) that is out of bounds, and there is the out of bounds line running along entire right side of fairway then up within 15-20 feet behind the blue basket.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.

- Hole 7: The out of bounds line runs from creek, up and around the bush by the tee, and back down towards the creek. Over fences, and neighbors yards is out of bounds.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.  DO NOT GO INTO YARDS!

- Hole 8: Over fence is out of bounds.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.

- Hole 9: Over fence is out of bounds.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.

TO TEE 10 – BIT OF A WALK.  GO ALONG FENCE TO AVOID PLAYERS ON OTHER HOLES.  TEE IS NEAR SOFTBALL BACKSTOP.

- Hole 10: Over fences – out of bounds.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.  DO NOT GO OVER FENCE INTO FIELD!  STAFF WILL RETRIEVE DISCS AFTER ROUND 2 AND BRING TO TOURNEY CENTRAL.

- Hole 11: Over fences, small maintenance building, and parking lot curb and beyond is out of bounds.  Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.  DO NOT GO OVER FENCE INTO FIELD!  STAFF WILL RETRIEVE DISCS AFTER ROUND 2 AND BRING TO TOURNEY CENTRAL.

- Hole 12: Volleyball court forms an island.  All else is out of bounds with a 1 stroke penalty – play from where you lie, UNLESS… Over fence or parking lot curb and beyond – throw from where disc crossed. DO NOT GO OVER FENCE INTO FIELD!  STAFF WILL RETRIEVE DISCS AFTER ROUND 2 AND BRING TO TOURNEY CENTRAL.

- Hole 13:  Basketball court, tennis courts, parking lot (including curb), and cabana footprint – out of bounds. Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.

- Hole 14:  Same out of bounds as 13, AND over fence. Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.

- Hole 15:  Basket is on a safe peninsula formed by the jogging trail and the chain link fence  (I.e. North of, and east of, and on the jogging trail is out of bounds).  Throw from drop zone if disc did not go over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.  If disc was on or over fair ground and then went out of bounds, play from where the disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty. DO NOT GO OVER FENCE INTO FIELD!  STAFF WILL RETRIEVE DISCS AFTER ROUND 2 AND BRING TO TOURNEY CENTRAL.

- Hole 16:  On and across jogging trail, and over fence is out of bounds. Throw from where disc was last over fair ground and take a 1 stroke penalty.  DO NOT GO OVER FENCE INTO FIELD!  STAFF WILL RETRIEVE DISCS AFTER ROUND 2 AND BRING TO TOURNEY CENTRAL.
